Additional Notes:

Coronary arteries are the blood vessels that supply the cardiac (heart) muscle with oxygenated blood. They branch off the aorta and wrap around the outside of the heart.

Systole is the term for the contraction phase of the cardiac cycle e.g. systole is when either the atria or ventricles are contracting

Diastole is the term for the relaxation phase of the cardiac cycle e.g. ventricular diastole is when the ventricles are relaxing
